Who We're Looking For

You’re a reliable, hands-on leader who thrives in the fast-paced rhythm of retail. You have a knack for balancing "the list" with "the people", ensuring that tasks like ordering and inventory are handled with precision while the team feels supported and the customers feel welcome. You support the Store Manager by rolling up your sleeves and leading by example on the floor, bringing energy, and proactive professionalism to every shift. With at least 3 years of retail experience and a solid grasp of MS Excel, you are ready to support the Store Manager in driving performance and maintaining the high standards Liquor Plus is known for.

What You'll Do

You'll lead by example and support the team. You'll assist with hiring and onboarding new staff, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, handle product ordering and inventory, manage floor operations to maintain productivity, and create a positive vibe. You'll champion customer service, handle concerns with confidence, and ensure service standards are consistent. You'll also support the Store Manager in driving sales performance while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of grocery, liquor store, or retail leadership experience or 3 years in a role with high-volume Inventory Management

• 1+ years of people leadership experience

• Strong beer, wine & spirits knowledge

• Valid “Serving It Right” certification

• Strong business math,  Excel, and MS Office skills

• Interpersonal communication & task management skills

Work Environment

Candidates should expect a work environment with: 

• Standing/moving regularly

• Required evenings, weekends, stat holidays

• Lifting up to 25 lbs, including overhead

• Seasonal blackout periods (March, November, late July, December)
