Who We're Looking For

You're a people leader who embodies high standards and understands what it takes to build and nurture a team. You're operationally sharp and can spot the high performers, and quickly highlight any service and system inefficiencies, and the areas needing problem-solving. You're an inventory management master and live for accurate details. You champion clarity, never avoid a necessary conversation, and are ready to leverage the opportunity to coach. You're comfortable with a quick pace, juggling and adjusting priorities while staying calm under pressure. You’re knowledgeable about the liquor industry and products and love to learn more. You're hands-on, proactive and positive, and believe you’re never too senior to jump on the till or roll up your sleeves when your team needs you.

What You'll Do

• Lead all store operations, drive sales performance, and maintain standards

• Manage the team (hiring, coaching, scheduling)

• Own financial performance and KPIs

• Drive customer experience

• Oversee ordering, merchandising and inventory

• Keep the store running like clockwork, clean, organized, and aligned with Liquor Plus standards

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years grocery, liquor store, or retail leadership experience or 3 years in a role with high-volume Inventory Management experience

• 2+ years of people leadership experience

• Strong beer, wine & spirits knowledge

• Valid “Serving It Right” certification

• Strong Excel and MS Office skills

• Interpersonal communication & task management skills

Work Environment

Candidates should expect a work environment with: 

• Standing/moving regularly

• Minimum one (1) weekend day & one (1) closing shift per month

• Potential stat holiday scheduling

• Lifting up to 25 lbs, including overhead

• Seasonal blackout periods (March, November, late July, December)
