About the Role

You’ll be responsible for leading the design of an AI-native product for climate and energy. You’ll be working closely with customers and engineering teams to create a new interface and compelling user experience for our customers. 

Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end product design, ensuring intuitive, beautiful, and engaging user experiences.

2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex AI workflows into simple, beautiful interfaces.

3. Conduct user research, usability testing, and rapidly iterate based on insights.

4. Champion a creative and innovative design culture at Soma Energy.

Who You Are

1. 5+ years of experience as a product designer.

2. Have a portfolio demonstrating your design process and product design skills – B2B, fintech, or video game experience a plus.

3. Passionate & excited about AI; using new tools and methods in your workflows.

4. Strong prototyping skills with tools like Figma; technical familiarity with web front-end development tools and concepts. 

5. Autonomous and excited about taking ownership over major initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is set between $115,000 and $175,000, plus benefits and stock options.
