About The Green Kiss
The Green Kiss is a locally-owned healthy beauty retailer built on clean products, expert knowledge, and a genuine commitment to our community. Established in 2011, we make the transition to healthy personal care feel approachable, empowering, and effective. Our Victoria-based store and national ecommerce hub are fast-paced, values-driven environments where service standards are high and the culture is deeply supportive.
Who We’re Looking For
You are a highly organized systems-thinker who thrives on precision and efficiency, and you believe in the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps a business growing. You take pride in managing the details and hold yourself to a high level of accuracy. You understand the relationship between logistics and administration, and you can pivot seamlessly between financial reconciliation, vendor relations, and digital inventory management.
You are a proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs before they arise. Whether you are navigating a complex shipping discrepancy or onboarding a new brand item into our system, you approach every task with a detail-oriented and systematic mindset.
Why You’ll Love This Role
As our Operations Lead, you will be the engine of The Green Kiss. Working closely with the owner and store manager, you will have significant autonomy to oversee our financial administration, vendor relations, and supply chain for over 2,000 SKUs. This is an integral role where your ability to streamline systems will directly impact the brand’s national growth and local success. This role has the room to grow into higher-level leadership as our systems and team scale.
What You’ll Do
Inventory Operations and Fulfillment : Maintain a high-functioning heart of house by leading shipping and receiving. You observe, adjust, and communicate pricing and ingredient changes. You will maintain inventory par levels, complete expiration checks, and procure operations supplies.
Vendor & Brand Management: Act as the primary point of contact for our brand partners. You will manage inventory orders, input purchase orders in Shopify, and handle the technical side of brand onboarding.
E-Commerce Management (Shopify): Take ownership of our digital storefront. This includes building product listings, writing copy, managing collections, and programming Gift-With-Purchase (GWP) launches to keep our online presence fresh and effective.
Financial Administration & Bookkeeping: You will prepare monthly summaries for our accountant. You will reconcile statements and ensure all financial documentation is archived and organized with total accuracy.
HR & Payroll Coordination: Ensure our team is supported by reviewing timesheets, submitting biweekly payroll, and tracking staff records. You will play a key role in onboarding new talent and maintaining HR compliance.
Operations Leadership. We know this role is robust; that is why we have 1-2 Operations Assistants to support these systems. You will schedule and supervise them, and oversee their daily tasks, from fulfillment to store maintenance.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in operations, retail administration, or a similar coordinator role.
An obsessive level of attention to detail, particularly regarding inventory receiving and data entry.
Strong proficiency in Shopify and financial software; experience with bookkeeping basics is a significant asset.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage complex, multi-step projects independently.
Strong written communication skills for professional vendor relations.
Experience in staff supervision and/or team leadership, with a focus on training and workflow optimization.
What We Offer
Competitive Salary: $52.000 - $57,000 per year
Flexible daily start time, including as early as 7 a.m.
Staff gifting and generous employee discounts
Uptown Shopping Centre staff discounts at participating stores
Free parking at our Victoria location
Ongoing professional training and career development
Opportunities for expanded responsibility and leadership as the brand grows
Work Environment
Candidates should expect a work environment with:
Standing/moving regularly
Full-time schedule (40 hours/week), including statutory holidays
