Nomad Compute PLC

About Nomad:

Nomad Compute PLC is building a globally positioned AI infrastructure platform designed for customers seeking distributed, globally deployable alternatives. Instead of tethering customers to a physical warehouse, we focus on containerized, relocatable, high-performance compute environments. Governments, enterprises, industrial operators, and sovereign partners are increasingly looking for infrastructure that offers greater flexibility, regional control, data sovereignty, and deployment independence. In a world where access to AI infrastructure is increasingly monopolized by a small number of hyperscalers, we’re providing a solution in which access and flexibility are at the core of what we do.

Nomad Compute deploys modular GPU compute containers that can operate off-grid and relocate globally as demand shifts. We deploy at locations where stranded energy, data residency requirements, or proximity create real, structural advantages over traditional centralized cloud. This infrastructure is designed for enterprise, telecom, industrial, energy, and government AI workloads across international markets.

Nomad Compute PLC is publicly listed on the Aquis Stock Exchange Growth Market under ticker NMD. The company has recently secured financing to accelerate deployment, secure strategic OEM relationships, expand technical leadership, and launch initial infrastructure rollouts. We are looking for a CEO to serve as the company's global public face. This is not a traditional operator role. The CEO will have significant autonomy in shaping the company’s commercial strategy, leadership team, and market positioning. As CEO, you will lead the company publicly across investors, enterprise customers, brokers, governments, infrastructure partners, media, and strategic stakeholders globally. You will help shape how the market understands and builds sovereign AI infrastructure over the next decade.

Who You Are:

You are a high-credibility commercial leader who knows how to raise capital, open enterprise doors, and build belief in emerging markets before the rest of the world catches up. You know how to walk into a room with institutional investors, sovereign stakeholders, enterprise buyers, or media, and command immediate confidence, trust and credibility. You understand how to sell complex infrastructure and emerging technology into large enterprise and institutional environments.

You likely bring experience from one or more of the following:

  • AI infrastructure

  • Cloud infrastructure

  • Energy infrastructure

  • Industrial technology

You have:

  • Worked closely with Boards, brokers, analysts, and public market stakeholders

  • Led enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, or international business development

  • Built and led high-performing executive teams

  • Scaled companies, platforms, or business units through periods of aggressive growth

  • Operated with full commercial accountability and P&L ownership

  • Experience with a public company, IPO, or listed company is strongly preferred

  • Experience working across UK, European, Commonwealth, Middle Eastern, or emerging markets is a major advantage

  • While you do not need to be the technical architect behind the infrastructure, you must understand how to commercialize technical platforms and lead world-class technical teams

What You’ll Get:

  • Board-level leadership role at the centre of one of the decade's most significant infrastructure shifts (sovereign, distributed AI compute) at a moment when the market is still being defined.

  • Genuine commercial and strategic autonomy. You will set the direction, build the team, and own the external narrative, with full Board backing and a founder who operates collaboratively.

  • Meaningful equity participation and a compensation structure designed for exceptional talent, with a clear path to value creation as the company scales.

  • Publicly listed platform (Aquis: NMD) with recent financing secured, OEM relationships in motion, and initial deployments underway.

  • International mandate from day one, with active engagement across European, Commonwealth, Middle Eastern, and emerging market channels.

  • Opportunity to become a recognised voice in the global conversation around AI sovereignty, data independence, and infrastructure alternatives to the hyperscalers.

  • Base salary (CAD) $280,000 - $360,000 | (UK) £200,000 – £270,000

  • Globally remote role - we’re looking for the best candidate, regardless of location.
